One on One Peer Mentor &
Group Peer Mentor
I work with many different young teens and adults everyday to
help them develop their goals and help them find successful ways to meet
their goals. I travel across the country to different camps,
conferences, workshops, and other programs giving my presentation on
what my life is like and giving advice on how they can be successful.
I also provide them with resources which might best benefit their daily
routine. I also help students decide which school they could attend,
understanding their disability conditions, answer their questions, and
help solve problems and listen to their concerns. I also provide family
support and encourage young teens and adults to get more involved so
they can see how real life is like and feel more comfortable with other
people who are different. I also help them become more proactive and
explain to them what their rights are so they know what they can and
can’t do.
