Summary

The best part of this trip was meeting new people, trying the drinks, the horse carriage, shopping for what I want, and all the foods.

My worse part of the trip was getting sick one morning, the bus rides, and sharing a room with 8 boys. It seemed to be really tough with one bathroom and 8 boys with all different styles, but everything worked out well.

Just to restate that people in Ireland really respect guide dogs. I noticed there is disability parking, but I was very surprised those buildings are very old and NOT accessbile for wheelchairs. They are very friendly people and are willing to help when needed.

Gary, our bus driver was the best guy on the whole trip that I had known, he loved Spencer and gave him a blanket to put on the seat so he can sit with me. He also let him stay on the bus when there are a couple of activities that we didn’t want to risk him from doing it.

My favorite food is the Irish soup, brown bread, tea, and Coors. Some of the guys are very nice to buy me a drink, and I had brought them a drink another day to be fair and it was nice to have a feeling where people care about each other.

I spent the following amount in Ireland:

Debit Card $291.97 (all at ATM)

Credit Card $540.42 (food and stores)

Started Cash $100 and exchange it to Euro

pawprintSpencer's Cost: $651.38 (see Spencer's Page)pawprint

beatutiful day

What I noticed different from Ireland and America?

As I stated in my journal, that they are pretty much simliar to us. The differences are: They drive on the left side as we drive on the right. They are a lot of small cars because of tax for driving car and CO2, there is less junk food that I see in the store or in ads. They have more ads for alochol.

Their EMTs are green and yellow and are very loud and we see them a lot on the streets.

Almost every city we visited had double decker buses and I believe it’s short in length and carry more people and save gas that way.  I found a cool mini car on the side of the street, and took a picture of it.

I really enjoyed this trip and Spencer was a very good boy, he didn’t get any day off except the day we went to the beach. He enjoy this trip too and doesn’t seem to have any problem.

I will miss all my good friends, the people, the food, and the most beautiful weather.
