Theme: Free Day

The hostel that we stayed at is the most beautiful hostel we ever stayed at on this trip. More like a camping style with animals all around it.

That day, I stayed at the hostel with 2 other students and we took Spencer to the beach again and then took a shower because there is only one bathroom for each gender. I only took a shower every other day in Ireland.  Then we made our own lunch. The other students went on a hike and it was foggy and raining outside.  That night, we went to town and ate dinner at Village Café then went to a pub and have a couple drinks with Russell before heading back to the hostel.

That night when we got back to the hostel, Tony, Jodi, and I went for a walk on the back road to an old tower which is on the edge of the sheep field. I enjoy watching the sun go down.

The sun rise around 5:30am and go down around 10:30pm at night.

Extra Ireland information: their bathrooms are totally different than ours, there are 2 water handles per sink instead of one. There is the hot on the left and cold on the right, if you want to use both, you put a cap on the hole and turn that on and turn the hot water on. You will get hot and cold but not warm water.  None of the hostels give towels for showering so we have to bring our own. For bedding they have bottom sheet and a blanket with no top sheet. In Northern Ireland they offer a top sheet.  Another thing I noticed when walking in different cities is they don’t have much garbage. They use air hand dryers instead of paper towel, and all soup comes in glass bowl no paper plate or bowl, and shopping bags are paper.
